The name “SUE ISH” is a blend of “Sue” (derived from the Hebrew word for lily) and the suffix “-ish” (meaning “like”). “Like a lily.” We interpret the “purity” of the lily as “high purity in software” — a state free from impurities. By stripping away noise such as excessive features and over-complicated code, we extract the true essence. We pursue architecture that is simple, robust, and beautiful.
